Wildcats News · Track & Field Athletes to STATE!

Congratulations to our Wildcat Track and Field Student Athletes on a very successful and enjoyable day at the 2018 Section 2AA Track and Field Championships! Based on their outstanding performances, 8 Wildcat Athletes earned their way to STATE in 9 events! Representing the Wildcats at the 2018 MSHSL State Meet include:

Danielle Pioske (SR) – Qualified in the 100M & 200M Run as the Section Champion! Danielle also qualified as the Section Finalist in the Long Jump!

Caden Turner (SR) – Qualified as the Section Champion in the 110M Hurdles and in the 300 Hurdles with a school record time of 39.41!

Adam Ebent (SR) – Qualified in the 1600M Run as the Section Finalist!

Samantha Hedtke (Soph) – Earned Section Finalist honors and qualified in the Shot Put event!

Kaleesa Houston (Soph) – Earned Section Finalist honors and qualified in the 1600M Run!

Section Finalist and State bound Boys 4×800 Relay team of Adam Ebent (SR), Karl Welbes (SR), Kal McDonough (JR) and Trygve Capistrant-Kinney (JR)!

The 2018 Class AA State Championships will take place this upcoming Friday, June 8th and Saturday, June 9th beginning each day at 9:00am at Hamline University! Congratulations Wildcats and Good Luck at STATE!!!

Congratulations are also extended to the entire Girls Track and Field team on securing Section 2AA Runner-up honors with a team score of 73! Way to go Wildcats!!!
