Wildcats honor parents, beat Delano, and sign autographs!

On a parents night / youth night double whammy combo, the Wildcats earned a victory over Delano, 64-35. While we didn’t shoot the ball extremely well, we played solid defense, put together a couple of good runs, and got the win down a starter to sickness. When people on the team are down, others have

Well, the game was ours to win. Up 7 with 4 minutes to go, up 5 with 1:21 left, everything that could’ve gone wrong went wront; 0-4 FT down the stretch; 2 unforced turnovers; and a missed layup that led to a layup for them. Hindsight is 20-20, and now I, as a coach, have

Only 88 female skiers advance to the state championships from throughout Minnesota; so a very exciting feat to have

Wildcats Varsity and JV pick up wins at Orono

The Waconia Wildcats won both the JV and Varsity games at Orono this Friday night. The JV won theirs in a GREAT showing of team basketball, 53-42, over a team that handed them a loss the last time we met, so it was a great show of progress! Really balanced scoring led by Kiley Sazama

Wildcats get big section win vs. Worthington

Worthington made the long drive to Waconia for a big section matchup, but the Wildcats came out with the win, 79-65. We once again had a fairly solid first half, especially scoring the ball, but lacked the defensive discipline at times to really put away a Worthington squad of good shooters. When we have discipline,
